Choose the Planter Best Suited to the Way You Farm

Case IH gives you the planter options suited to your fields and the way you like to farm.

You spend a lot of time researching and selecting the right hybrids and seed varieties for your farm. It makes good sense to choose a planter that fits your individual operation — one that will help those carefully selected seeds reach their full yield potential.

We think choice is good. That’s why Case IH offers a full line of Early Riser® planters — along with the latest technology — designed to match your fields, soil types and conditions and the way you like to farm. Here are some options to consider as you evaluate your needs this year and in the years ahead:

2000 series Early Riser planter

Our latest planting innovation, the 2000 series Early Riser planter, is the first to factory-integrate industry-leading seed placement technologies, including the vSet® 2 meter and vDrive® electric drive and DeltaForce® hydraulic down force. But at the core of the 2000 series Early Riser planter is the rugged, best-in-class row unit.

Built with heavy-duty cast components, the 2000 series stands up to high speeds and tough, fast-changing conditions. A 26-inch toolbar clearance, plus a 60 percent increase in vertical row-unit travel, helps accommodate uneven terrain without sacrificing accurate seed depth and consistent closing — even at speeds up to 10 miles per hour. The 2000 series features models easily customized to a range of soil types, terrain, fertilizer/chemical application needs and varying crop residue management practices. Choose the model and structural design that best meets your needs:

Can they not make a planter that can do 10inch and 20 inch rows for cereal and bean crops?

    • Joe Cahill3.6.2018

Our narrowest row spacing available for planters is 15 inches. We also have 20-inch configurations. Crop kits and seed discs are available for a wide variety of bean crops, with seeds sizes for small, medium and large edible beans.

We also have a Precision Disk 500 air drill available in 10-inch row spacing. This is achieved by 2 sets of ranks, each on 20-inch centers. It is very easy to convert from 10 inch to 20 inch settings by simply using both ranks of row units, or only one.

The Flex Hoe™ is a tried and true product that has been the backbone of the Case IH seeding line-up form many years. It offers small grain producers a dependable seeding tool in size from 33 to 59 feet, in spacing from 7.5 to 12 inches with single or double shoot air pack. New for 2018 is a blockage monitoring system for both the Flex Hoe 400 and Flex Hoe 700. This is an acoustic-based system that provides the ability to sense lower rate and smaller seed types.
