Scott Rasch, Corporate Events Manager for Case IH North America, was awarded the Honorary American FFA Degree on Oct. 27 at the 85th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis. Are you a former FFA member? What did you appreciate most about FFA?
According to the FFA, this award is given to individuals who have provided exceptional service to the agriculture industry and/or agricultural education and FFA through outstanding personal commitment. The National FFA board of directors must approve all nominations for this award.
Rasch has served as Case IH’s day-to-day contact for FFA for the past several years. He has overseen Case IH’s sponsorship and has been committed to the New Century Farmer and American FFA Degree programs. Most recently, Rasch spearheaded the company’s auction of “Red Power,” a one-of-a-kind skid steer, raising more than $75,000 in proceeds to benefit the FFA on the national, state and local levels.
Rasch believes the agriculture industry needs strong leadership as the world and industry evolve. He feels it is very important for Case IH to help young people Be Ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow’s agriculture industry.
