Case IH Advanced Farming Systems® (AFS) software is new and improved, offering more functionality and capacity to help you farm more efficiently. I invite you to learn more about it and then let us know what new precision ag technologies you are considering for the future.
For the new AFS software, this industry-leading software gives you access to a complete range of desktop solutions for your farming operation.
This software offers components that are factory installed, not added on, to save trouble and time. It features a single display and control center for all product lines. The AFS Pro 700 display is a common interface for machine and implement control, as well as for operating AFS AccuGuide, AFS Row Guide (combines), AFS AccuControl, AFS AccuRow control (planters), AFS yield monitoring and mapping and the new AFS Connect telematics offering.
New AFS Software Does It All
Further simplifying operation, the new AFS Software suite can manage, view, analyze and edit all of your precision-farming data. This provides you with more functionality and capacity to make business and production decisions.
One program does it all. For example:
- AFS View allows you to view and track data with a customized list of farms and fields, which can then be shared with precision-farming devices for data management.
- AFS Mapping & Records provides a field record-keeping, mapping and analysis solution to help you make better management decisions about yield data, soil types, soil test results and hybrids.
- AFS Books integrates all financial records for easy product-cost comparisons, enabling producers to make more informed decisions to improve farm profitability.
- AFS Water Control helps producers identify optimal placement of tile and surface drains in both surface and subsurface water management projects.

How have precision farming technologies changed your operation and what new technologies are you considering for the future? Tell us how these technologies are helping you Be Ready for the future.
Reading about your AFS Software, what I want as a farmer is to be able to use my IPad as my monitor, download an “AP” for each idividual implement whether it may be my Vermeer Baler, my Case IH planter or my John Deere sprayer. I think it is very important in this day in age that one screen (Ipad, laptop, Ipond, or smart phone), could all be used for each implement by downloading an “AP”.
I garrantee this is what John Deere will move towards and we need to have universal and compatable equipment.
