At this point in the growing season, you’re probably already thinking about harvest. If you’re concerned about how you’ll get the crop out, it’s a good time to evaluate your equipment needs.
A timely harvest is almost as important as getting your crop planted on time. Equipment downtime can open your crop to weather delays or weather-related losses, such as dropped ears, lodging or shattered pods. A slowed harvest can hurt next year’s crop, too, if the fall tillage window slams shut.[Tweet “It’s a good time to evaluate your equipment needs. Via @Case_IH #BeReady”]
Now, with the new Case IH Certified Pre-Owned* Program, you can gain peace of mind from a new piece of equipment — even when new doesn’t fit your budget.
Start with the Best
Only special machines — those serviced by a special caliber of technician — are eligible for the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned Program. Late-model (five or fewer years old) Axial-Flow® series combines and Magnum™ and Steiger® series tractors qualify for consideration. Combines must have fewer than 1,500 engine hours; tractors can have no more than 2,000 engine hours.
Only after meeting those standards is an analysis of engine oil, coolant and hydraulic fluid performed. This state-of-the-art fluid analysis identifies dirt, wear particles and coolant contaminants that can cause catastrophic failure or significantly shorten equipment life.
Next, a thorough, systematic inspection — 200-plus points for combines and 100-plus points for tractors — and reconditioning includes replacing worn out or defective parts. Those replacement parts must be genuine Case IH parts or factory-authorized parts. New parts carry a six-month warranty; factory-authorized remanufactured parts come with a 12-month warranty. Certified Case IH dealer technicians perform all repairs, returning the equipment to field-ready condition.
A final test drive — conducted only after equipment successfully meets all analysis and inspection checkpoints — ensures that all repairs fully meet Case IH standards, and the equipment qualifies for the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned Program. This exhaustive certification process is a guarantee you’ll work confidently with proven Case IH quality and durability for years.
Post-purchase Protection
