Case IH Unveils New & Improved “Big Three” Fluids

The “Big Three” Case IH fluids – No. 1 engine oil, Hy-Tran and coolant – will be coming soon for superior performance in Case IH equipment. These fluids help producers meet the demands of both Tier 4A engines and CVT transmissions, and they can also be used on legacy equipment. What type of fluids do you use on your equipment? Share your thoughts with us.

Using these updated lubricants will help enhance equipment performance, reliability and the life of the equipment. With the new No. 1 engine oil, farmers can use that oil as the sole diesel engine oil for mixed fleets, regardless of what type of emissions system they use.

Semi-synthetic versions of the No. 1 engine oil and Hy-Tran Ultraction also will be available for producers who operate equipment in extremely cold or hot conditions, or simply prefer to use semi-synthetic oil.

For more information on these fluids, visit the latest issue of Farm Forum, where you can learn more about each fluid via an interactive guide – click the plus sign at the top of each jug.

I have a Dynahoe 140B. Having no problems with transmission at this time but want to use the best product to protect the transmission as it ages. What Case product would you recommend and what dealers carry the product?

7-8 years ago we converted all our cooling systems to competitive/generic OAT coolants. These coolants seem to do their job, but their long term compatibility with Case IH tractor engines is unknown. With ACTIFULL OT, it seems Case IH makes a Case IH tested OAT coolant available. I appreciate that. When will it become available in Europe?
