When recent tornadoes struck Oklahoma City, Okla., and surrounding areas, Case IH customer Eric Wolgemuth and his custom wheat harvesting crew from Pennsylvania knew they had to help. On their way north, they put aside long days in their Axial-Flow® combines and stopped in The Sooner State to lend a helping hand.
“We were in El Reno, Okla., to help a local farmer,” said Winston Wolgemuth, harvest team member and Eric’s son. “We picked up shingles and debris so he could put his cows safely out to pasture.”
The team also stopped in Thomas, Okla., where they helped tear down ruined structures, tarped roofs and cleaned up the wreckage.
The custom harvest family is a close one, so it’s no surprise that other harvesters have joined the effort.
When tough times hit, everyone pitching in makes a difference. Thanks to this custom harvesting crew and the many others who have helped those affected by spring storms.
Looking good Josh!!!!
