New Early Riser® 5 Series Helps Farmers Move Beyond Picket Fence Stands

Designed to help farmers maximize their yield potential and consistently produce in any condition, the Early Riser® 5 series will help you be ready come planting time.

What Early Riser features are most beneficial to you during planting season?

The 5 series comes equipped with the legendary Early Riser row unit, with 12 industry-first design features that give growers an agronomic advantage. The new line provides seed placement accuracy and consistency, helping producers move beyond “picket fence” stands to photocopy plants.

Some new features include AccuStat seed sensing system. Farmers can monitor and map detailed seed spacing information, including seed singulation, skips, multiples and the spacing coefficient of variation (CV), live on the AFS Pro 700 control center.

The Advanced Seed Meter with the new AccuDrive cable drive system is precision engineered for accurate and consistent meter drive with trouble-free operation in all field conditions, including no-till, minimum-tillage and more.

Also available are new factory-installed AccuRow electric row clutches, capable of automatically turning off and turning on seed metering in areas that have already been planted, where pre-existing boundaries are present.

Redesigned bulk fill enhancements for models 1245, 1255 and 1265 make filling easier and minimize stops. The updated system reliably and efficiently delivers seed from the tank to the mini hopper, no matter the seed population or coating. Even challenging seeds like sunflower and sweet corn are quickly filtered through the enhanced system.
