Understanding the need for a smaller, more agile tractor, Case IH introduced the new Farmall® V series tractors at World Ag Expo last week. They are specifically designed for smaller areas, such as fruit and nut orchards and vineyards. Do you farm fruit and/or nut orchards and vineyards? How could these smaller and more nimble tractors benefit you?
“The Case IH Farmall V tractor is loaded with features that accommodate the variations in climate and terrain that orchard, vineyard and nut grove owners face,” says Greg Lucey, Case IH Farmall Marketing Manager.
The Farmall 105V tractor has 90 PTO horsepower run on the Tier 3 emissions-standard-compliant engines to deliver high levels of power and torque, while still providing excellent fuel efficiency and longer oil life.
The tractor features a lower center of gravity as well as an 80 percent more efficient parking brake system allowing it to handle steep inclines. The Farmall 105V comes with your choice of either ROPS or an enclosed cab. The cab version provides heating and air conditioning, as well as improved air filtration and a sliding front screen for pleasant weather days.
The Farmall V was inspired by its close cousin, the Farmall N series which also features a low profile and narrow width. The three tractors in the Farmall N series – the 75N, 95N and 105N -share many of the same features as the V series, with a slightly wider configuration and a higher-horsepower option.
