At the 2013 Farm Progress Show, Case IH unveiled a new, expanded lineup for livestock, hay and forage users. In the last three years, Case IH has introduced 26 new compact and utility tractors and 11 new hay and forage tools, providing versatile solutions to the challenges producers face every day with their operations.
Which hay and forage equipment were you most excited to see at Farm Progress Show?
This week we will be featuring some of the new hay and forage tools in the Be Ready blog, starting with the DC3 series disc mower conditioners.

The DC3 series disc mower conditioners simplify the path to high-quality hay with new designs that put more hay into windrows.
The new Case IH DC3 series disc mower conditioners are designed to help growers simply and consistently deliver optimum hay quality.
With several new enhancements to the DC3 series, including a new cutterbar design and larger-diameter discs, growers will leave less hay in the fields while improving crop flow and windrow consistency.
The new DC3 series was designed to simplify adjustments and prevent slowdowns. Lightweight, impact-resistant plastic access doors make adjustments easy to do right in the field. So simple, that the swath doors and swath board don’t even require tools to be adjusted. With new shielding that reduces the potential for material buildup and a drive system that minimizes horsepower consumption, producers can simply focus on efficiently creating windrows.
