We introduced the Case IH Patriot® 2240 – our Class 2, self-propelled sprayer – to our Be Ready blog readers earlier this year, as well as to many producers at farm shows this winter. In this video, Case IH Application Equipment Marketing Manager Mark Burns points out the features that enable the Patriot 2240 to provide total application control in a smaller package. What’s your favorite feature?
The Patriot 2240 shares the same DNA as its larger Patriot siblings. It features the already-successful cab-forward, rear-engine configuration to ensure optimum weight distribution to minimize compaction or rutting potential, which is key when operators need to access wet fields during short spray windows. It offers big-sprayer features like optional automatic boom section control, automatic boom height control, AFS AccuGuide autoguidance and the exclusive AIM Command® spray system.
The new Patriot 2240 also joins the Efficient Power family. It comes with a Tier 4A-compliant 165-HP, 6.7-liter Case IH FPT engine.
Narrower track spacing than larger Patriot models, more ground clearance, best-in-class trailing-link suspension … tell us, what’s your favorite feature?
