Case IH is pleased to donate a one-of-a-kind, tricked-out skid steer to benefit the National FFA Foundation, as well as one lucky FFA state association and local chapter. The online auction is coordinated by Purple Wave and will run through Sept. 30, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. CST.
Proceeds from the auction will be split accordingly:
- 89% to the National FFA Foundation
- 10% to the winning bidder’s state FFA association
- 1% to the winning bidder’s FFA chapter of choice
This is a great opportunity for local FFA chapter members to get involved and promote the “RED POWER” auction, because if their chapter is selected by the winning bidder, they’ll see a direct benefit to their local programs and activities. In addition, owners and influencers of local agri-businesses will become more aware of their local FFA and will have a better understanding of why youth programs are important.
It’s a One-of-a-Kind Machine
“RED POWER” is a Case model SV250 skid steer with 82 gross engine horsepower and a 2,500-pound rated operating capacity, with other standard features. Its extraordinary features include a custom Case IH-red paint job, a unique decal package, added chrome features, special red LED lighting and a red leather seat, among other unique features, to make “RED POWER” like no other skid steer.
Case IH Continues Long-Standing Support of FFA
For more than 60 years, Case IH and its local dealers have supported FFA, including their current sponsorship of the New Century Farmer and American FFA Degree programs, in addition to the “RED POWER” auction. Just as FFA’s mission is to prepare the next generation of leaders for future challenges and opportunities in agriculture, Case IH also strives to help producers Be Ready for the future of agriculture. FFA chapter members can help their local chapter by telling potential bidders about the RED POWER auction and by encouraging them to bid, because the proceeds will benefit members on the local, state and national level.
