From tractors to sprayers and combines, we’re pleased that so many of you are incorporating Advanced Farming Systems (AFS) into your operation. Just like you, we’re always looking to improve. Because of upgrades we’re working with our satellite provider to implement, on Tuesday, July 21, AFS customers using OmniSTAR® or RTX™ correction services will experience a brief signal outage.
While this outage will only last one hour, we realize how important every hour of the day is. Once AFS is back up and running, we’re assured that your systems will be, too — with improved signal reception, especially at the edge of coverage beams. If you have any questions or need additional information, we encourage you to contact your local Case IH AFS dealer. They’re always standing by to help you Be Ready.
Outages by region and provider are referenced below. Even though the outage is only one hour, customers that live on the edges of the central beam and in the green area on the RTX map should contact their dealer for additional information that may improve signal reception.
- Eastern beam: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. CDT
- Central beam: 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. CDT
- Western beam: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. CDT
- Central beam: Customers in the red area shown below will experience a brief outage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. CDT
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
