Too Soon to Think Fall Equipment Needs? Think Again.

The Case IH Certified Pre-Owned program can help you power through fall tillage.

This spring’s weather challenges provided an excellent reminder about just how tight production windows can become. With the season fresh in our memories, it’s not too soon to think about how important fall tillage is to our cropping cycle and about how weather can squeeze that opportunity, too.

From sizing and mixing crop residue to breaking up hard pan, fall tillage is a critical step toward creating a high-efficiency seedbed. Will you be able to get over the acres you need to cover? Would a higher-horsepower tractor, or even an additional tractor, help? How about a more reliable one? If any of those scenarios make sense for your operation — but buying new doesn’t — consider the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned program.* And do so with confidence.

High standards

Only certain machines — those serviced by a special caliber of technician — are eligible for the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned program. Late-model (no more than 5 years old) Magnum and Steiger® series tractors with fewer than 2,000 engine hours qualify for consideration.

Once those standards are met, a fluid analysis of engine oil, coolant and hydraulic fluid is performed. Next comes a 100-plus points inspection by an authorized Case IH dealer and reconditioning that includes replacing worn out or defective parts. Those replacement parts must be genuine Case IH parts or factory-authorized parts. Certified Case IH dealer technicians perform all repairs, returning the equipment to field-ready condition.

A final test drive ensures all repairs fully meet Case IH standards and the equipment qualifies for the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned program. This exhaustive certification process helps to ensure you’ll work confidently with proven Case IH quality and durability.

More than tractors

If a combine upgrade would help you make it through harvest, or if a different sprayer would help get you through to harvest, consider Case IH Certified Pre-Owned Axial-Flow® combines and Patriot® series sprayers. Combines and sprayers must have fewer than 1,500 engine hours and survive a 200-plus points inspection to participate in the program.

Post-purchase protection

Equipment purchased under the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned program comes with a Case IH Protection Plan with Extended Powertrain Coverage** to help keep your equipment working properly beyond the base warranty period. The Case IH Protection Plan covers all major engine and drivetrain components with a $0 deductible.

Talk with your Case IH dealer about the advantages of buying Certified Pre-Owned equipment today or visit and look for the Case IH Certified Pre-Owned logo. The right reliable equipment can help you wrap up the season so you’re ready for winter and your fields are ready for spring.
